An important and timely conference looking at ways to improve children and adult protection took place in Coventry on 23rd October.<\/p>\n

The National Safeguarding Conference saw safeguarding professionals from across the UK attend the event held at the Welcome Centre in Coventry.\u00a0 The conference included speakers from the BBC, the Disclosure and Barring Service, The Church of England, the British Association for Adoption and Fostering and the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre.<\/p>\n

Robert McDonald, managing director of National Training Resources \u2013 the company that organised the conference – said it had been a great success.<\/p>\n

“The conference allowed safeguarding professionals from different sectors to network, discuss important safeguarding issues and suggest ways forward in terms of potential safeguarding laws, policy and procedures.<\/p>\n
