With twins and multiples, it can become a challenge to ensure their needs are considered and that they are included. This extends to how teachers and schools communicate with them and their parents, whether or not the siblings are taught in the same class.<\/p>\n<p>Leonie Huie, a part-time teacher and a mum to three-year-old twin girls from Southwark, is the author of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.empowerme.london\/mybook\">The First Year Is Survival<\/a>, a book published in October 2020 for parents of twins and multiples \u2013\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/londonnewsonline.co.uk\/teacher-is-honoured-for-services-to-education\/\">writes London News Online on 13<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0January 2021<\/a>.
