CHANNEL 3 CONSULTING has recruited Leo Jones, a former deputy director of children\u2019s services, as a partner to support the company\u2019s continued growth and further strengthen its position in the social care sector.<\/p>\n

A qualified social worker and children\u2019s services manager with over 20 years\u2019 experience across consulting and the public sector, Jones will also be Channel 3\u2019s head of delivery.<\/p>\n

Immediately before joining Channel 3 Consulting, he was a director at management consultancy IMPOWER. While there, he led a range of complex and innovative whole-system transformation programmes across health and care, with a particular focus in the special educational needs (SEND) and learning disabilities sphere.<\/p>\n

His work in this space focused on driving earlier support for children with SEND, through the use of innovative digital assessment tools, and placed a greater focus on improving longer-term outcomes and supporting independence into adulthood.<\/p>\n

As a result of his work he was named the 2021 \u2018Thought Leader Consultant of the Year\u2019 at the Management Consultancies Association Awards and was asked to present to the director general of the Department for Education and her team.<\/p>\n

A passionate advocate of technology\u2019s ability to deliver insights that can help change behaviours, Jones is known for his focus on evidencing the tangible human impact of digitalisation.<\/p>\n

Commenting on his appointment, Jones said:<\/p>\n

Technology can of course drive efficiencies but perhaps more crucially, it can dramatically improve the day-to-day lives of those who deliver and receive vital services.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the past 12 months, Channel 3 Consulting has been awarded several digital transformation contracts in the UK and overseas.<\/p>\n

Recent clients have included Reading Council, NHS England, Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, the Ministry of Defence, Greater Manchester ICS and Bermuda Hospitals Board.<\/p>\n
