Showing the major impact the introduction of Lightfoot\u2019s in-vehicle driver coaching technology has had over the period, the figures revealed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a3102,189,084 in fuel savings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>68.5 million litres of fuel saved<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An average fuel economy improvement of 9%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>180 million kg of CO2 saved<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"508\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gpsj.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Lightfoot-in-cab-Copy.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8804\" style=\"width:343px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gpsj.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Lightfoot-in-cab-Copy.png 800w, https:\/\/www.gpsj.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Lightfoot-in-cab-Copy-300x191.png 300w, https:\/\/www.gpsj.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Lightfoot-in-cab-Copy-768x488.png 768w, https:\/\/www.gpsj.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Lightfoot-in-cab-Copy-150x95.png 150w, https:\/\/www.gpsj.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Lightfoot-in-cab-Copy-400x254.png 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Paul Hollick, Managing Director at Lightfoot, said: \u201cThe scale of these savings is immense and just goes to show that getting drivers to buy into our unique offering pays dividends, both financially and environmentally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur approach of in-vehicle coaching and reward creates safer drivers and more efficient fleet operations, as well as helping companies meet their environmental targets by significantly reducing carbon emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe data from the past five years shows the substantial impact Lightfoot has made, and we expect this trend to continue as we expand further into Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTo put these figures into context: before using Lightfoot, a large diesel panel van covering 20,000 miles at an average of 150p per litre and 25mpg would cost nearly \u00a35,500 in fuel. With Lightfoot fitted, the fuel bill would be just over \u00a35,000 for the same mileage, reflecting a 9% improvement in fuel economy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And the improvement is continuing.
